Legacy Life Podcast

What legacy do you want to leave for your children? In this podcast I share my journey as I strive to help create a legacy of feminine social change so our children can grow up in a world where feminine & masculine qualities are equally valued. There is some work to do! It starts with us, in our homes making small changes that can have a big impact.

Episode One: Letting Go Of Perfection

I've been thinking about doing a podcast for a while & just not starting. I realised I was allowing perfection to stop me. I'm not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, & that's just it, we can allow having to do something well stop us get started. I am striving to show up authentically, & I know that getting going & sharing my message no matter how imperfectly is better than not getting going at all! So hear it is my very first episode of Legacy Life Podcast ...recorded with a small person sleeping next to me in the early hours of the morning.

Episode Four: When the Tiredness hits

This is a quiet one- whack it up after the intro, lean in and don't worry it does get louder! In this episode I look at the importance of taking time to rest, fill up your cup, surrender to our need to rest. More time with our families over the last year has made it even more important to take that time where we can. As children return to school in the UK the temptation is to rush to "catch up", when you actually want to enjoy some of the space created. Rather than feeling guilty, it's ok to take a breath, to take some time for you. It's been intense! Give yourself permission... What's your biggest takeaway from this episode?

That thing that lights you up & moves others to step more fully into who they are. I want to know!!! It might be connected to your family, your business or your personal life, or all of them! Episode Eight: Finding Joy despite adversity

In this episode the inspiring Alexander MacKensie shares his philosophy of joy, even when life is at it's most challenging. He took some time to share with us in the midst of experiencing physical discomfort & had to head off to get checked out. All with a smile, whilst being his pragmatic self. Not just talking about it, but showing it in action. "Living creatively with joy" Alexander was fine after being checked out. He's still smiling and fearless about whatever life brings. #legacylife You can connect with Alexander here: https://www.facebook.com/alexander.george.mackenzie
